The soulful gaze of a pet. The whisper of a breeze through eucalyptus leaves. The shimmer of sunlight on fur. I paint to share emotion and the stories hidden in plain sight. People often tell me they can see the quirky personality of the furry or feathered friend I’ve painted – like the artwork is about to blink or demand a snack. That spark of connection is my favourite kind of magic – joyful, slightly mischievous and made visible through brushstrokes.
